Tom has been teaching for over 30 years in Maine, primarily in Waldo County. He teaches a multitude of instruments including piano, keyboard, acoustic and electric guitar, bass guitar, ukulele, percussion, mandolin, and drums. He also has a heavy emphasis on music theory if the student so desires.

Ventura School of Music’s primary focus is on children and teens, although Tom does teach adults. His wife Brenda, an artist, is co-owner of the school and does all the artwork in the studio which is located in the Crosby Performance Center in downtown Belfast.

Tom’s wish is to give to a whole new generation the wealth of musical information and knowledge that he has obtained through his entire musical life in a fun and custom tailored style.
